On 7 November, in Berlin’s iconic Concert Hall, Ukrainian tea brand Graff achieved a remarkable milestone by winning the Red Dot Design Award 2025 in the category Brands & Communication Design. This victory places Graff among the world’s top design innovators and marks an important global recognition for Ukrainian consumer brands.
A Global Design “Oscar”
Often referred to as the “Oscars of Design,” the Red Dot Award has a history spanning more than 70 years and is considered one of the most respected design competitions in the world. Every year, thousands of companies submit their products, branding concepts, and communication design projects for evaluation by an independent international jury.
In 2025, Graff competed against thousands of brands from 58 countries, showcasing the creativity and identity behind its unique packaging and communication style.
Judged by Leading Global Experts
This year’s Red Dot jury included 30 independent experts, among them internationally recognized leaders in marketing, branding, and communication. Representatives from Netflix, Meta, Ogilvy, and other global creative powerhouses were part of the selection panel—making Graff’s victory even more significant.
A Night of Recognition in Berlin
The award ceremony gathered 1,500 participants from 43 countries, celebrating the world's best design achievements. Graff’s distinction was presented in front of this global audience, underscoring the brand’s success on the international stage.
A Breakthrough for a Young Ukrainian Brand
Graff is a relatively young brand—the first product rolled off the production line less than two years ago. Yet in this short time, the brand has already earned a place among global leaders in design innovation.
“This is an impressive achievement for a young brand whose first product entered the market less than two years ago. The packaging and advertising design featuring stylish animal mascots is an entirely internal development by CupSoul designers. We created a brand that is not only high-quality but emotionally resonates with its audience. And we proved that products Made in Ukraine can be world-class,” – wrote Andriy Zdesenko, founder and CEO of Biosphere Corporation, who accepted the award in Berlin.
A Win for Ukrainian Creativity
Graff’s triumph is more than an industry award—it is a strong signal that Ukrainian brands can compete globally with originality, innovation, and emotional storytelling. As Ukraine continues to strengthen its presence in international markets, such achievements reinforce the country’s reputation as a hub of world-class design and creative excellence.
