Ukraine on the world food-stage: how Ukrainian exporters are shining at Anuga 2025

From 4 to 8 October 2025, the exhibition halls of Koelnmesse in Cologne hosted one of the globe’s foremost food & beverage trade fairs: Anuga 2025. The event convened thousands of companies and tens of thousands of visitors from around the world, offering a powerful platform for discovering new products, forging international alliances, and showcasing export potential.
Among the many national pavilions, Ukraine stood out. Under the umbrella of the Ukrainian Export Alliance (UEA) and in cooperation with the Ukrainian HoReCa Cluster, 19 leading Ukrainian agrifood companies took centre stage — occupying two national collective stands and presenting their products to a global audience of buyers, distributors, and decision-makers.

Why Ukraine matters

In a time of dynamic global change, Ukraine’s food-industry exporters are proving their resilience and global relevance. According to official sources, Ukraine’s presence at Anuga 2025 involved multiple national stands, collective and individual exhibitions — and, for the first time, over 100 Ukrainian exporters displayed their agri-food potential.
This surge in participation is more than a numeric expansion — it reflects a strategic push to position “Made in Ukraine” as synonymous with quality, innovation, and international partnership. Buyers looking for reliable producers, diversified product ranges and supply-chain resilience found Ukraine’s message compelling.

Spotlight on the Ukrainian collective stands

Under the Ukrainian Export Alliance’s organization, two distinct stands anchored Ukraine’s trade-fair presence:
  • Hall 11.1, Stand G060 hosted top-tier companies such as SCHEDRO, Gradoil Group, KERNEL, Viktor & K, Nizhyn Cannery, MANZARO Ukraine LLC, Ovostar Union and Alhamwi.
  • Confexhall B020 featured TERRA FOOD, Imperial Plus (TM Sladosvit), DELTA-FOOD, Bakery Food Industry (BFI), Lantmännen (TM AXA), Olis (LLC Firm Olis Ltd Export), CHUMAK, Veres Group, VTC Trade, Anko-Agrotrade, and Glendeal.
Together, these 19 companies affirmed their status as market leaders in their respective categories, ready for global partnerships and export growth.

Product range and export opportunities

At the two Ukrainian stands, visitors were able to explore an extensive product portfolio, including:
  • Vegetable oils & fats
  • Sauces, ketchups & mayonnaise
  • Canned vegetables & tomato products
  • Dairy products & ingredients
  • Eggs & egg products
  • Grains, cereals & flakes
  • Confectionery & sweet ingredients
  • Bakery products & solutions
  • Agricultural products & trading
This broad spectrum allowed buyers to engage not only with single product lines, but with an integrated Ukrainian supply-chain story — from raw materials to finished goods.

Strategic value and future outlook

For Ukraine’s exporters, the significance of Anuga goes beyond a trade-fair appearance. It’s a strategic investment in global visibility, market-diversification and long-term partnerships. As one official put it, “in such difficult times for Ukraine, fruitful cooperation between public and private sectors… contributes to the development of agri-food exports … and visualises Ukraine on the food map of the world.”
Looking ahead, this presence lays the groundwork for increased export volumes, expanded distribution networks and strengthened brand recognition for Ukrainian food & beverage producers. For international buyers, Ukraine increasingly becomes a partner of choice — offering scale, reliability and product innovation.

Invitation to engage

If you are a distributor, buyer or partner seeking to connect with high-quality European suppliers, the Ukrainian collective stands at Anuga 2025 offered precisely that. The Ukrainian Export Alliance invites you to discover the breadth of Ukrainian food-industry capability, meet leading exporters, and explore how “Made in Ukraine” can complement and strengthen your supply-chain strategy.
